1080P? Damn! Are there plasma/lcd/projectors out there that is affordable to the average joe that can handle 1080P natively? Most I know will take 1080i, but not 1080p.

I just read this tidbit
Previously, the Video area on the Media blade of the Xbox Dashboard only played back videos from your hard drive. No more! Stream video from a PC, portable device, or Memory Unit.
The Video area now looks very similar to the Music and Pictures area, which already let you stream music and pictures from various sources. Select your console, data disc, computer, or portable device as the source of video content.
For those of you who keeps vids on portable HDD's, this should be a godsend. Hopefully it'll play all the formats besides .wmv

maybe. The change log said that you can stream WMV. So you might be ok if your vids are in that format.

yea it's WMV till our buddies over at "tweaks, plugins, formats and stuff" make something that on the fly converts one format to another and streams it.
1080p for me = dell 24" lcd once i get the money for it. it's only 120pixels off the native on the Y axis so there should be minimal distortion.
