I would do it, except i dont have a lot of time and my profile and avatar is my limits, if you see i add the max in the avatar. Also there are probably pros out there dieing to say yes, but is waiting for the right moment.

I would think some stuff from 2142. I was thinking of putting the titan in with one of the walkers and keeping with the style of the old adding all the fps games you all support here. Let me know which way or the other. This will be graphics though and not my normal hand drawn stuff.

You are right about the P in FPS. But are you maybe looking at the image in a scaled down view? It is a feature of vBulletin to scale down images when they are big. Try going directly to the image.

The Top one is the better of the two. The added graphic of the mech makes it look better. The bottom one seems a bit empty for that reason.

I say the top one is good to go, it also matchs the boards cause they are both blue. So i say green light, but my traffic lights don't mean anything, cause i dont own the website or the servers, so ya...

Well the banner shows up on only 2 of the 3 skins anways. (default and "disturbed_x")
The banner is also supposed to be an "official" WiH banner, and would most likley be on both.

I have anim-fx but am having trouble with the Html(dummy). the program is sweet because you can generate different styles/themes on the fly by just changing the text file, It has all the holidays, so you can be festive year round:lol: . Let me know if you want this generated with the WiH verbage . Whoever the html person is, they can upload it. I can do the red text and whatever color background you want, someone else will have to photoshop the 2142 banner in. If i can help, shout.

the banner looks fantastic, i really like the version with the rotating scenes.

bolder colors or something to give it a gritty feal is all it needs now in my opinion. i'd like the new banner to say "war is hell" by the way it looks.

the one we have now has a raging firefight going on which embodies/exudes our name. our new banner needs to accomplish the same i think.

First, thank you Doc for taking the time to work on the banners.

Second, my apologies for not devoting time to giving you feedback. I finally have some time over this Thanksgiving holiday weekend to play, to catch up on server work, and to think about the banners.

Third, I see you have a lot of talent in graphics amongst your other coding talents. From the work that you've posted, I think that they are a bit subdued for what we are trying to convey, which is a sense of action and fun in our servers and in our community.

The banner that I want to create needs to convey action. The current forum banner and server graphics portray that sense of action.

Can you whip something up with some "in your face" action? The new banner doesn't have to include every game that we host, as that changes several times a year. It also doesn't have to match colors as the skins are selectable and what works with one skin won't work with another. So might as well not worry about that and just make it "in your face". :D
