Are there any new puzzle games that are mysterious and what not... kind of like the old school Alone in the Dark... Solve puzzles to get clues or to new areas? Need to streach my brain out a little

not that i know of. go back and play 11th hour, phantasmagoria, etc. my brother and dad were way into that type of games. ah damn, i almost forgot REVENGE OF THE TENTCALES 1&2! aw damn and goblins 1-3 man the 90s was the golden age of the type of game i think you're looking for.

11th Hour was Awesome! yeah it was the golden age for this genre... was Myst that type of game? i may have to run out and pick that up for discount just to play around with it...

for sure! i dont think they, my bro and dad, liked some of the latest mysts, but they enjoyed at least the first two.
