Laptop Deals?

Any one know about any decent laptops in a pretty good price range. Its gonna be used for the 2142 client, TS, Visual Basic (Programming), and word processing. No games, no hard core shiz, just a mini work horse. Id like to have 512 Ram or greater and 2.0Ghz or better. 40gig hard drive will suffice, DVD ROM, and id like to be under $600 if at all possible... ive searched Newegg and some of the major carriers but laptops are unfamiliar territory for me... Shout at me with some links or info tellin me to keep dreaming...:D
