so today there was a plauge of hackers - global what ever, justice, true liar, etc.
so what is there to be done about this? of course you can always get an admin, but this post is concering what happens when there is no cat to be found.
it seems when there are no cats, the rats come in great droves. so what is the solution to this problem? here's my advice - play it smart.
do not kill the hacker when you first spawn, this will get you kicked, in fact i suggest you do not kill them at all. what i do, beyond getting their steam id, is attack them with anything, i prefer my knife, until they are down to 10 or less health. this leaves them vunerable to death by the other team, but the best outcome you can hope for is that they retaliate and end up killing you. if they do kill you, slay them and repeat the process until they are kicked or leave. if they have speed hack this process will not work, but most hackers are the type of people who will retaliate when team attacked and usually kill you.
now i know this purification process is not condoned by the admins here, but in their absence what else is there to do to keep the game fair and enjoyable to the largest amount of people?
and for those of who who did not get the metaphor the cats are the admins, the rats are hackers and team killers/attackers, and the mice are us, the regulars to this great community along with those who joined by accedent and are doing no harm.
if there is any better way or another alerntive to my vigilante justice suggestion i would love to hear it.
