If anyone noticed, i've been playing on the WiH #1 for a while now. Doing nothing but pubing is starting to wear on me though, and I think it's time to get a little more competitive.
A little about me, since I haven’t been hanging around on the forums:
I used to be better at FPS. Eh, but anyway: Mechwarrior 3 was the first PC game I ever got into competitively. The team I helped spawn was only moderately successful until mechwarrior 4, where we managed to cling to the #2-8 rungs in the big league at the time, starlance. Once won a "survivor" style tourney that took over 8 hours of play because of all the people (the best I've ever been at a game). At some point the team disbanded when our fearless leader moved to japan.
A few of us stuck together and played the PC version of Halo. Small community, and we inserted ourselves into a 100+ member clan that was just starting the game. The community was small, and for as long as I was there we (6-15 of us) were holding down the #1 spot at TWL.
Fast forward to today. I'm playing CSS and can get stuck at the bottom of the list in pubs. Amazingly enough, as I write this I seem to be at rank 30 in the server. Whatever. I'm about to get on and suck it up some, see if I can't lower it a little. #5 shotgun too-
My skill unfortunately seems to be incredibly erratic. I hate the AK and tactical, love shotgun, M4, and glock.
