Anyone pre-ordered their BF2 yet? ebgames.com listing shipping date as 6/21/05.

I think there's 2 packaging versions coming out. 1 with just the game and 1 with game and headset. Outpost.com has the 1+headset for $38.

I'm not going to preorder. :flipoff: But I wouldn't trust those release dates until you see the product in the store. You can never tell with these companies.

Yeah I found the link. Did you order it this way? I may not want to wait for it to be delivered even if I get the overnite delivery. It might be faster to pick it up at EB the day it's released. Any one have past experience with this type of deal?

Nope, i am a cheap bastard, I went with the free one, but in past experience, I have received in at most 2 days, so I will take my chances, yeah I know, but that $7 can buy me a 6 pack.

I agree, once again I am cheap, but I preordered it, BECAUSE, I get a free headset,, value at around $15, and seeing my damn bird ate, my current pair, i will be in need of a new one, other than that I wouldnt have preordered, free is good!!! and no, I didnt have cocketail(my bird) soup for dinner, but it was a thought :D

I called the sales guy first and he said their is a chance but not a gaurantee that they could get them before the ship date and send them out so that I would get mind on the release date. He said I could check back with them in a few weeks and they should no more. If I don't like what I hear I can just cancel my order.

I took 6 old PS2 and Xbox games to my local Gamestop and traded them in. SInce I am a member in their Gamestop club, for each 3 games I traded in, I got an extra $10 credit. When it's all said and done, I got $65 in credit which I put toward BF2.

The only thing that has stopped me from ordering it, is that I didn't want the game to be out and have to wait for it to arrive, so I may just copy your idea. I want the free headset, but I'd rather make sure I got the game on time. I know it's a little early, but I think I'm getting sick and I just may have to call in the day it comes out.

June 21st is my birthday. Ill be 32. Since the release date is June 21st, and Jeff from Human Resources birthday is June 21st, it means I totally will pwn in this game. (its in the stars) Im sorry for all your future deaths.

Jeff has been spending considerable time in POE ( neglecting counterstrike). Jeff has prepped himself for BF2 very well. ( and gotten to know the whole HR crew !!!! FINALLY. (TeamSpeak works with POE----doesnt work with CS)

Joke though, Ive talked to alot of you counterstrikers who are right behind me, who wont do POE , but are eager for BF2. That is super awesome and we cant wait for you. Dont be mad at us though when we swoop down on you in your tank and bomb the crap out of you.

In my opinion the Point of exitance MoD is a very very proffesional job and a great forerunner for what we can see in a month from BF2.

So will a normal headset, say the one I use for CS not work with BF2 or what?? Also how much is it supposed to retail for, since most new games are at the $49.99 mark, while the link to that site prices it at $37.99. Meh just wondering.

Oh yea anyone know the expected specs or requirements for BF2?
