As there are a lot of guide threads showing up, I should type out a shotty guide.....nah. Killing zilongs is much more amusing for the killers and the bystanders. I know you all agree! :rockon:
Steps in Killing Zilongs:
1. Survive the first shot! Teh zilongs are very accurate at aiming for the head with the mighty, righteous hammer of the gods..... errr the shotty. Looking back at what I do, it looks as if a jump-crouch + holding crouch and landing low is a good way to dodge.
2. Find a buddy. Zilongs are easily confused by doppelgangers and will hesitate for a bit while picking targets. Shoot him while he looks confuzzled! Phyxius, bosnia, or eject are good choices, as they all can easily spot and kill bouncing, shotty wielding mad men without breaking a sweat.
3. Master the deagle. The deagle is the antithesis to all that the shotty and the bs god stands for. Having a deagle increases your chance of survival from 99.5% to 99.9% It's pure evil will create a "force field" around you so the zilongs may never land a direct hit, at least not a fatal one. Many will testify in support of this.
4. Learn the zilongs' routes. Zilongs are very habitual creatures and are extremely resistant to change. They will take the exact same routes unless (many many) repeated failures are met.
