New Point of Existence Server Online

War is Hell Gaming is proud to host Point of Existence 2! We've been around since the inception of POE on BFV. For POE2, we'll be hosting it on a beefy box located out of ThePlanet in Texas.

We're looking for adult gamers that are team-oriented and are looking to have fun. Hackers, tk'ers, griefers are not welcomed and will be hit with the banstick when our admin team sees them.

Without further adieu, here's the server info:

64-players
Dual Opteron 265, 2GB RAM, 3000GB of bw.

Server rules
-No tk'ers, griefers, hackers
-No racial or excessive foul language
-No mic spamming
-Player abuse will not be tolerated
-Admins are undercover, so be on your best behavior

First, from a tech standpoint, when you say dual Opteron 265, you mean two dual core Opteron 265s in this system? If that is right, then I'm speechless!

That is correct 2 dual-core Opteron 265, 2GB RAM, 3000GB of bandwidth, 2 160GB SATA drives. This puppy is costing several arms and legs. Needless to say, the owners are all gimpy now. :D

OMG. That's bad ass. Its just a MOD correct no rank points. I don't care. Reminds of all the Tribes MODs so many years ago. I liked there ranking system.

They will have a stats tracker server. It will track stats, but it won't be used to open up new unlocks or ranks or whatever. Just stats. Correct me if I'm wrong Drayu and/or Chaos.

correct, if the provider wishes to have a "ranked" server they track thier own stats but there are no unlocks. However im not sure if they have thier own badge/ribbon system...

If you havent already down loaded it, i highly suggest you get it from the WiH FTP ftp://74.52.44.2/gaming/poe2/poe2_v1.0.0.zip
It started at 1000kb/s and dropped down steadily to a VERY steady 499 kb/s. so steady, i didnt see it waiver once it hit it. took around 35 mins. :bow:
