Infractions are another system that allows admins to warn users of unwanted behaviors. So instead of giving the user -rep, admins can give him infractions. If a user acrued many infractions over an x amount of days, their forum priviledges get reduced and eventually removed. I have not had a chance to set this system up fully yet.
