Ok, for you die hards out there, here's a tip for you to appreciate.
During play, I am constantly hitting my caps-lock key to bring up the full map.
Why do I do this? Because I get a ton of information that gives me an advantage over other players.
Information is power!
At a glance, I can see where all other squads are. Chances are, if I head to where another squad is attacking, I'll be safer. After all, there's safety in numbers. :)
Also, when I'm in a support vehicle, like a chopper, I'll go to where I see a squad trying to take a flag. That way I can support them and help them take that flag.
I can also use the map to see where empty vehicles are, because when vehicles spawn, you can see them on the map. They are gray.
If enemy are in a vehicle or mounted weapon though, they disappear.
This brings me to another point. A lot of players take a car somewhere and jump out of it to capture a flag on foot. If you see an empty car that doesn't belong there on your map, and you see no friendly around it, you can assume enemy just jumped out of it.
This is another reason why people accuse me of hacking. When I'm flying a bomber, I always monitor the whole map and look for things like this. Because when I kill players at a friendly flag before the flag goes gray, I get tripple points for it for a "Flag defense." Gotta love them points!
This leads me to a valuable tidbit for all pilots... You can find out which IGLA/Stinger sites are occupied if you know where they are supposed to be, and see on the map that they are not showing up any more. Chances are if you dont see it on the map, then it's occupied by enemy!
Well, that's about it for this tip, I don't want to make it too long. Just remember, use that caps-lock key whenever you can you'll get a lot of information which will give you the edge. And some day maybe you will be called a hacker too! :D
