When you fly the Littlebird choppers it's important to realize that the bullets actually do not hit where your crosshairs are. They actually land a little lower than your crosshairs. The next time you fly a littlebird, hover in front of a flat wall on a building and fire your guns. Watch where your bullets land and remember their position in relation to your crosshairs.

The MEC and US choppers are very much different in their bullet patterns.

The US chopper's gun barrels are placed close together and come together at a close range. This means at close range the US chopper does serious damage (hitting two bullets for every tick).

The MEC chopper's gun barrels are placed far apart. The two streams of bullets come together at a rather long range. This means that if you want to be the most deadly against another chopper, you will want to have a large distance between you two.

All this information I gleeened from just shooting walls at various distances with the two choppers to find out exactly where bullets hit.

Just this information will get you a heck of a lot more kills. :)

Also, when fighting other choppers, the BEST place to aim for is directly under the rotor. If you land your bullets right at the top of the body just under the rotor you will PWN your enemy every time. I've been called a hacker many times by killing other choppers so quickly. It's all a mater of knowing where to aim and where your bullets actually land. If you can land your bullets in the right spot you'll win. Even if the enemy gets the drop on you.

Another good tip is to make sure you keep moving. Don't hover steady in one spot, that gives your enemy a good target. Practice on an empty server. Hover around a tower or smokestack and keep shooting it as you circle it. This is good practice and I recommend at least an hour or two of this until you never miss that smokestack while circling it quickly.

Also, if you're going to fly the littlebird, make sure you are a squad leader. That way players can spawn on you and you can drop them off. Stick around and circle the flag your squad is trying to capture. While you circle you can actually take out a lot of infantry. With skill you can cover your squad and provide UAV for them, allowing them to capture the control point.

If you are a passenger in a littlebird, make sure you don't bail out when the chopper is turning. It's best when the chopper is moving in a straight line and gaining altitude slightly or level (not losing altitude). I usually use VOIP to tell my squad members when to bail. I'll fly in a straight line just over a flag while slightly moving forward and gaining altitude. That way I don't TK them :)
