For those who were on the server the other night when the NUTSACK007 clan was on you may recall the complaints about them. Rather than whining about getting owned or accusing them of hacking some of us watched what they were doing and learned from them.
Last night the CT's on compound tried out a strategy we watched them use and guess what? It worked. Every time. The CT's were so dominating (and not because of pure player skill) that 50% of the T's left the server. So for those of you who complain because you are getting owned, stop, take a step back, watch what your enemy is doing and LEARN from it.
Thank you, have a nice day, please come again, drive through.

It involves a lot of grenades, mostly flashbangs but with a couple of smokes being thrown over the wall on the right while the team advances. You can keep the T's on that side blind so long that you can be at the back entrance to the hostie area before their vision ever clears.
Grim and I and a cooperative team had a lot of fun using that tactic. Totally reversed the bias of the map in our favor.

that wont work against every T though....and you need a cooperative team....very cooperative

a couple weeks ago i figured out that i could buy and throw a bunch of smoke grenades (6?) while in spawn and completely smoke out the wall for easy access into the silo. bounce em off the silo wall for control.
pretty cheesy but it worked.

for some odd reason smoke and flashing doesn't stop me as much as most people. got used to finding the right angle of shot to keep vision as phyx found out one night :)(that's right buddy, keep calling me a hacker)
See, I'm a huge fan of compound on either side of the team, though it requires less cooperation for the T's to pull through. Tactics such as that are simple to come up with but orchestrating them is another story. You're absolutely right, you need a cooperative team who wants to win and that's what pisses me off about maps like that. Winning is just as easy for either team, but not everyone plays for the team. Wish I was around for that.
