Norton and this Site

I know I have brought this up before, but I am wondering if anyone has figured it out yet. Whenever I go to look at the forums I get some crazy messages at the top if I forget to disable Norton Internet Securities. NIS was doing the same thing to my messenger launchcast, but I worked that one out by adding permitted sites to the ad-blocking rules. I even added a bunch of addresses for this site in hopes it would work, but have had zero luck. So if anyone has gotten it to work, please post. It is such a pisser when I haven't checked the forums for awhile and I click on them only to realize that I forgot to turn off NIS (that's a prob b/c when I do turn it off and go to check again, it tells me that there are no new messages, which I am sure is far from the truth)


Oh yeah I must mention that this only happens in firefox, IE actually doesn't have this problem! Weird stuff.

Yeah that happened to me at first and it pissed me off for three straight months. I couldn't figure out what was going on. I turned off the firewall then logged in, and as long as I stay logged in I can access the forums and the rest of the site with the firewall kept on. Trick is staying logged in.

yeah, but that isn't sufficient for me. it has been bothering me since I registered back in november or so. There has got to be a line I am missing to ad to my permit rules. Just haven't got it yet.
