I dont play the zombie mod so i wont vote. I wouldnt want to spoil the fun of those who enjoy it.

I understand your point, but I think if you're not playing the zombie mod because you're not interested and you would be interested in another type of mod, it is perfectly valid to participate in the vote. I actually didn't vote for the zombie mod in the first place but now I am the sole vote to keep it....strange how that happened. I'll be happy regardless of what we do...any mod with WIH in front of it will make me happy.

Zombie was fun for the first bit, but now I'm moving back to the regular server.

Also why is the "change" picture in grayscale and not colour?

i'd rather do deathmatch instead of gun. truthfully, i think the gungame mod is just retarded in the way it works. some people will be suffering at the bottom of the food chain with some crappy pistol while the skilled ones will be slaughtering from the top with their favorite weapons.

I sort of agree zilong but i also disagree sort of.

At least with the gun game the higher skilled people have to use all the crappy guns aswell.

At deathmatch I can have a para every round.

Surf maps are bleah. I think I'll try and make a mod where its CS with grav guns on weird maps with multi levels and lots of objects to throw. o.o

I gave it up also. Any skill I had before zombie mod is now gone. I cant aim or shoot right anymore. I have spent the last 3 hours getting my ass handed to me in a gun mod server. We need gun mod.

Deathmatch is better then gunmod for helping skill. Plus the most important factor..

Oh man surf maps are the worst.. so retarded.

As for keeping an extra server with the deathmatch mod.. considering the mod isn't all that diverse and different from normal CS, I ay we ditch the extra server completely and just have CS.

well my 2 cents with regards to the lag is maybe having the special server down to like a 16 person server. If that wouldn't help then nevermind my mouth. Time for something else other than zombie though. It was fun when there was no one in FF-ON though. And it has also helped revive the regular server I think

Or lower the tick rate to 33 when also hosting a mod. Dunno if that would help but we used to get a long just fine with 33 tick

I guess I'm in the minority for keeping the ZM. It was fun for a while, and admittedly I won't be sad to see it go, but it did bring a lot of new people in, even if a fair number are headache-inducing, mic-abusing preteens. Though I understand the rationale for taking it down, I don't know how many people play on it regularly - from their perspective, a popular server is being taken down in favor of one that is often dead... though I s'pose if they were more active in the WiH community it wouldn't happen as easily. Oh well, just playing devil's advocate.

I think the zomie server brought alot of people into the normal FF server. It was kind of nice to have that populated. We need something either a zombie mod or a gun game!

I think wihadmin's post is saying that this is a vote to see if it's time to change to another mod, not to do away with the mods altogether.

I agree with you Gruthar that the mod has been the major reason that the normal server has been so popular. I definitely think we should stick with some kind of mod because otherwise we'll just have a server that has low lag, but virtually no one ever on it.

I think before too long we'll be seeing a poll come out from wihadmin on which mod to switch to next. I'll be voting gun game!

I surf a lot myself. Looking for easter eggs or chasing people down ramps with shotguns is good, relaxing fun. You can get an unblockable mod for surfing so you don't stop when you run into people, which helps a lot on some maps.

And I must say I'm against gunmod. Every round of gunmod I've played ended up fun for one person and aggravating for everyone else. :mgcrazy:
