Hey folks!
I thought I'd share this creepy convo I had earlier this morning with all of you. I was playin' at one of the [logick] servers when the map hit cs_office (my personal best) and so we got to playin' when this bullet proof cat started talkin' to me like he knew me. And there you have it. One angry kid at pFm. Still though, it takes all kinds, I suppose. I personally have no respect for a player who may have been leet at one point, but, whether out of spite or anger or whatever, actually picks up cheating.
Sure, you want to incline all factors into your favor when you wanna play to win, but a good player has to have character. And character's composed of two simple traits, patience & morality.
Now I won't get into patience here, because the point of this piece revolves around morality and the questionable ethics surrounding teh hax.
I don't necessarily mean spiritual or religious morality here, I simply mean that the player has to have some decency, values, and most of all some common-sense.
I mean, this guy's totally lacking in each of these attributes. There's none of that basic human decency here. He's totally repugnant in the manner in which he conducts himself. He has no desire to do the respectful or even the right thing.
Of course, it comes to no surprise to me that a hax0r/cheater/rager/wtfever would be this way. But what drives a kid commit such sampfaggotry. I've got my thoughts on that one, but it doesn't matter. There's no talking to them. They'll do what they'll do. And hopefully, VAC2'll sort'em out.[/rant]
My short stay here, I've come to find that many of the players here are talented, but more importantly, respectable. I just wanted to say that I admire this cs community for that and look forward to gamin' with all of you. (and hopefully into bf2 :D)

And there you have it. One angry kid at pFm. Still though, it takes all kinds, I suppose. I personally have no respect for a player who may have been leet at one point, but, whether out of spite or anger or whatever, actually picks up cheating.
Sure, you want to incline all factors into your favor when you wanna play to win, but a good player has to have character. And character's composed of two simple traits, patience & morality.
Now I won't get into patience here, because the point of this piece revolves around morality and the questionable ethics surrounding teh hax.
I don't necessarily mean spiritual or religious morality here, I simply mean that the player has to have some decency, values, and most of all some common-sense.
I mean, this guy's totally lacking in each of these attributes. There's none of that basic human decency here. He's totally repugnant in the manner in which he conducts himself. He has no desire to do the respectful or even the right thing.
Of course, it comes to no surprise to me that a hax0r/cheater/rager/wtfever would be this way. But what drives a kid commit such sampfaggotry. I've got my thoughts on that one, but it doesn't matter. There's no talking to them. They'll do what they'll do. And hopefully, VAC2'll sort'em out.[/rant]
My short stay here, I've come to find that many of the players here are talented, but more importantly, respectable. I just wanted to say that I admire this cs community for that and look forward to gamin' with all of you. (and hopefully into bf2 :D)
