Bob i picked you for this topic and you'll understand why.
I have been playing CS:Source for 6 months now and I forgot how hard it was at first. The constant frustration, endless deaths, etc etc.
Recently, I bought battlefield Vietnam and then downloaded point of existance. ( like 19.99?) Man this game is hard. CS is bad enough when you get deagled at first, but to never see where a shot came from at all is pathetic. Im sticking with it though. Phenix started this same time I did, so at least Im going through the rigors with someone I know. Anyhow Bob, I watched you finish office the other night with 3 people left on the map. I know you got the "inkling feeling".
Tonight I:
-succesfully parachuted out of a chopper ( press E, then 9 to open chute)
-Wiped a spawn of 6 enemy with a few gernades and an AK-74
-drank a lot of whiskey
-swapped on and off crashing Migs with phenix, like 50 at the runway ( buy a damn joystick were retarded)
-met Knotwobadd and Drayu (cool =HR= guys)
-got my ass owned repeatdly like an "Oz prison extra"
Anyhow, Im posting this here because of 2 things.
1) knotwobadd and drayu are pretty damn sure, and I tend to agree with them on this point, that a vast majority of the War is hell gaming community is going to swap from Counterstrike to battlefield 2 when this game comes out. Or at least give it = gaming time.
2) You all are gonna suck as bad as I do when you start. And I think the learning curve is quite a few bars higher for this game then CS.
So my point is, I learned something from Atomic Bob. He gets shot a lot but gets better and better slowly. If anyone has a patience for a game like Point of Existence, its Bob. And I hope to see you there someday Bob. We can argue over radio stations in a tank while we get blown up by someone we never saw.
P.S. --if anyone deserves to wear the LiT tag on counterstrike "spirit" alone..its you BoB.
