and where can I download that Zombie Mod everyone plays

and finaly how will

zombie mod is serverside. when you join the wih zombie server, it'll dl all the stuff you need automatically. same with custom maps if you need them. wih's normal cs server doesnt have any mods, it's more or less unmodified.

those specs should be fine at those settings, kaos's are worse ;O

Your specs are basically the same as mine except i have a 6200.

I play at 1024x768.

It should be playable.

Once you've got to grips with the game/console/cfg's,if you still want a higher fps there are things you can do to improve it. Theres ways to make the game damn ugly.

As for patches,steam does all that for you.Its both a positive and a negative as you'll find out.

The first few months of css are gonna be fun as hell, you wont be able to stop playing. Then the BS kicks in! BS! left, right and center!

In the filter for finding servers make sure its set to "secure".For some reason if its set to "both" your favourites wont work.

Thats the only fix i know of.Hope it works.

They manage to break the server favourites quite often. I reccomend xfire (http://www.xfire.com).Its very popular among cs players.In addition to its uses as a messaging service it also keeps track of the servers you play on.
