ANNOUNCING THE WiH 2006 3rd Quarter DRAWING!!!
Many have shown their support for the War is Hell gaming community by donating their hard earned dollars. Thanks to them for their support!! By donating you are not only helping to make the community a better place to game, socialize, and get advice, but you are also automatically entered into our quarterly drawing to show our appreciation.

The package consist of the following prizes:

ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition AM2 Motherboard

All three items will be awarded to the drawing winner!

HOW TO GET IN THE DRAWINGClick the Donate button found on the WiH home page. For every $10 you donate to the WiH community you get 1 entry into the hat. Donate $20 and get 2 entries; $30 gets you 3 entries and so on. So the more you donate the better your chances are of winning. (Clever devils aren’t we!)

In case you haven’t heard the Era of AM2 has dawned. AM2 is AMD's new generation of CPU that will replace current 754 and 939 pin Athlon and Athlon-64 CPUs. The AM2 will also be the basis for AMD's upcoming 65 nm processors that are due out at the end of this year.

ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard
ASUS makes significant use of the AM2 in the new M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard. The M2N32-SLI Deluxe supports dual graphics card operation to run the most video resource-hungry applications. The board comes equipped with an NVIDIA nForce® 590 SLI™ MCP chipset, two PCI Express x16 slots for two identical SLI-applicable graphics cards to run simultaneously in SLI (Scalable Link Interface) mode. This new motherboard from Asus promises to set a new standard for gaming.

AMD AM2 3800+ SC 2/4Ghz CPU
What good is a motherboard without a CPU. The AMD AM2 3800+ SC 2/4Ghz CPU is the latest version of the AMD Athlon 64 Processor. Now with DDR 2 support for 533, 667 and 800MHz memory. The new M2 Socket allows the high bandwidth memory bus controller that is integrated into the core of the CPU to exploit the speed and through put of DDR2. The new interface offers dramatically higher performance figures with DDR2 over the old style DDR RAM. With built-in support for future 64-bit applications and the ability to run 32- and 64-bit software at the same time, ideal for Windows XP now and allowing migration the next version of Windows, Windows Vista.

Zalman CNPS9500 AM2 CPU Fan
As if this package wasn’t cool enough the Zalman CNPS9500 AM2 CPU Fan is also included. The CNPS9500 features 100% copper construction in a sexy new black satin finish for maximum heat transfer. A unique curved heat pipe design packs the heat transfer capabilities of six heat pipes using only three. The CNPS9500 is actually relatively light for its size and all copper construction, utilizing a 0.2mm ultra-slim fin design to reduce weight and airflow resistance.

Ok this is a stupid question because I'm probably just blind however...

Where is the Donate link on the webpage? I've searched for it and I can't find it. If there is not a link then I can't seem to find the Donation Instructions. I was going to assume it was Paypal or something like that.

Please help this poor blind person. Thanks. :)

Edit Add: Ok I found the link it was in Snake's Sig line area but that's the only place I found it. Honestly.

Okay so if an individual wins this who doesn't need the parts I would like to be the first in line to purchase these from that person.:D I only say this because I NEVER win anything:wallbash:

See that's my problem I think. I've never seen it because the top bar doesn't load when I go to the main site. I use Firefox and it's not security restricted and it's updated. I don't know why it doesn't show up but it doesn't.

Everything else loads just fine. The top bar shows up when I go to the forums section.

This would be why I've never seen the Donation link before. Any one else with Mozilla having this issue?

Yup. It's the disturbed_x style for the website that the box with the "Show Support" donation link is missing. I should have thought about going back to default. It's been so long I forgot about the style change. I just like the way disturbed_x looks like. Thanks for the help!

I think you will keep seeing record amounts of donations if you keep having prizes like this one! Hell you want to see even more? Put up a 7950 GTX dual processor video card. That would also drive donations through the roof.

when the g80 is released...have that as a prize, i guarantee there will be loads of donations...

but i personally did not donate for the parts....as most know i dont need them, as my computer is set up pretty nicely
it was basically for the love of this community and respect for what the admins have done here

that isnt to say if somehow by gods grace i won something in my life, i woulndt start a bidding war over the items...

eh maybe even ebay, but you guys would def get first grabs

either way good luck to everyone, and congrats to whomever wins, but remember we are all truly winners are we are supporting the community we all love!!!!

gotta keep this place going, without it i would have never even played css or bf2, or gw, or wow, or well you get the point... i love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!
